Evensia is my final year project where I designed and developed a location-based event notification and management web application from the ground up. The goal of this project was to make event discovery more accessible for users while helping organizers promote and manage events efficiently.

1. Evensia — Event Notification & Management System
Evensia is my final year project where I designed and developed a location-based event notification and management web application from the ground up. The goal of this project was to make event discovery more accessible for users while helping organizers promote and manage events efficiently.
I built Evensia using React for the frontend and Node.js with Express for the backend, with MySQL as the database. Throughout the project, I focused strongly on clean UI/UX design, intuitive navigation, and real-world usability. Organizers can create events with dedicated pages containing images, descriptions, FAQs, and contact information, while users can discover nearby events using geolocation and category-based filters such as music, sports, health, charity, and esports.
The platform includes features like ticket management, user engagement tracking (likes and attendance), and analytics dashboards that help organizers understand user interactions and event performance. It also supports role-based access control for users, organizers, and admins to ensure secure and structured platform management.
Building Evensia allowed me to apply my skills in full-stack web development, UI/UX design, database design, and API development, while solving a practical problem with a scalable and user-centered approach.
